Right now, I’ve got a gimpy stomach, and I’m trying to figure out what caused it. Was it the spaghetti sauce whose lid burst open after I dropped it on my way home from the grocery store? I put it in the fridge right away, so it wouldn’t have had time to spoil, would it? Or was it the roast beef slice I had at lunch? Or the frozen peas and carrots – could it have been those?

The problem is that when somebody eats something bad, it takes a while for the badness to show up. So I’ll have to be on the safe side: throw out the leftovers from what I ate yesterday, thoroughly wash all the dishes, and scrub the counter clean. Bad germs. Go away.
