Two recent observations:

On the subway, virtually no one ever uses a stopped escalator as a flight of stairs. Even though there is no reason not to.

People who wear boots with pointed toes often seem to have mean faces. (Yes, there are probably exceptions. Please do not interrupt me when I am generalizing. Thank you.)
