“Everlasting Love” by Robert Knight

22 08 2013

There are many versions of “Everlasting Love” out there, including versions by U2 and Carl Carlton (and a duet between Rex Smith and Rachel Sweet that I am afraid to listen to). But the best version is probably the original, which was recorded by Robert Knight in 1967 and reached #13 in the US:

There isn’t much on Knight in Wikipedia. He apparently last had a hit record in 1974, though his page says that he is still active.
